Either you are a Blogger like me or you are a full time worker. If you have ever taken your work seriously, you might have thought about increasing your productivity at work.
I just heard a Yes from you, Right..?? Of course, it will be yes.. because more productivity means more profit. And more profit means more motivation to work.
When I started my career few years back, I used to do these seven mistakes which always had an adverse effect on my productivity and I always lagged behind my competitors.
But as you know Life is all about moving on being better with time, So, I realized I have to increase my productivity in order to get better results what I was getting that time.
Try these 5 Simple hacks in your life and tell us in the comments what changes you noticed post this. Let’s get started:
01. Taking regular Breaks
This is a contradictive point. Isn’t it. One side I am saying increase your productivity and on the other side I am saying not to do work continuously?
Yes you got it right. Breaks are equally important when it comes to productivity. For example while working if you take a 10 minutes of break after a Power Session (Will Discuss Power session in coming points) you mind will get refreshed and will be ready for the next session of your work.
Also, in with my personal experience I am telling it will increase your concentration and focus as well. With increase in focus you will notice an increase in the quality of your work delivered as well. ?
02. Noting down the priorities and time spend on each task
Life is all about priorities and if you know your priority well, you will be soon be successful (if not till now..keep working).
Suppose if you are wasting more time on less important task than the time spent on more important task, soon you are going to face problems either from your boss or employees if you are running a business.
So, note down the time spent on each of your tasks and divide the time on the basis o the priorities. Soon you will notice increase in you know what. Productivity. You will be delivering more work,or rather I would say more quality work.?
03. Quit Multitasking Focus one thing at a time
The point here is very clear. Focus on what you are doing, one thing at one time.
As soon as you will start practicing this, you will notice a boost in the speed of work being done. Because the main problem while working is we often try multitasking which is the biggest mistake among all.

I used to try doing more than one work at a time and that was my biggest mistake. For example while doing some writing stuff, sometimes I use to attend some phone calls thinking it wont make any difference but I was wrong.

04. Quit Mobile Phone/Social Media while working
This would be the most tough hack to follow, but to explain this let me take an example.
I worked with an organization in banking sector. We were issued lockers for keeping our phones before entering the office.
Although it was for data security purposes, but I noticed a significant increase in my concentration, hence productivity in my work.
I guess I already knew this that I am spending (better word to use here would be wasting) much time on Social media through my Android.
So, when I started my own firm I decided to keep my phone away from me while working. This helped me a lot. You must try this hack once
05. Work at 90 minutes Power Sessions
If you have reached this point than you are very serious to increase productivity in your work or your employees work if you are a boss. So, here is the last point and the most important one.
Human Body is all about habits. If you have a habit of waking up early in the morning you will automatically wake up on the same time on daily basis.. Got the point..??
Try to work continuously for 90 minutes an soon you will have a habit of that and post that your body will automatically start behaving in that way.
When your focus or say concentration will reach at a high level you will notice that the work you used to complete in half of the day or say 3,4 hours now you are completing it in a short span of just 90 minutes.
That’s why I referred it as 90 Minutes Power sessions. Don’t forget to take breaks after these Power Sessions in order to get your mind and body relaxed and get prepared for the next session.
These five hacks I applied in my life in order to increase my productivity at work and trust me being a boss it is more important because you have people working under you.
