You already know the Importance and Benefits of Email Marketing. An Email newsletter is a good way to get in touch with your readers. Many of the bloggers find newsletters very useful because they can share the favorite published posts with readers or make them aware about the giveaways and contests to readers. You can increase your web traffic and revenue by sending your blog posts to your subscribers.
But, I think according to my experience, sending newsletters every day is not effective. Think; imagine your friend sending you an Email every day. How likely you might not open that Email after some time and will leave it unattended. This is normal action which I will take when I get Email from same person every day. If you are sending one post every 3-4 days, it is very effective. This way less Email and more likely to get better CTR.
Now, let’s go to the topic. Building a strong readership by sending your blog articles straight to the inbox of subscribers is simple using AWeber Blog Broadcast feature. In this post, I will show you how to create a Blog Broadcast step by step.
Watch the video:
Step by Step Instructions Create a Blog Broadcast
Under the “Messages” tab, select “Blog Broadcasts.”
Click the “Create A Blog Broadcast” button.
Enter your RSS feed URL for your blog in that first field “RSS feed URL”.
Choose a template. You’ll find a long list to choose from to the right of the HTML message area.
The Blog Broadcast feature works by pulling the content from your blog and reformatting it into a template.
Then, click on the Load Template button.
Scroll down the page to view or edit the template’s appearance. If you decide on another template later on, you can always repeat this step.
Next, you’ll need to schedule when your broadcasts will be sent out.
Send Time – choose whether you would like to send them at a specific time of day. If the time of day is unimportant to you, you can leave this set to “Immediately.”
How Often Should We Send Your Blog Broadcasts? – You can choose a number of new posts which will trigger the send Or choose to have it send on specific days of each month. This is the important one. Set up one Email per 3-4 days.
If you want to send the newsletter automatically at selected time on selected day, just check the box to make the process automatic!
If you want to be able to review each message manually, leave “Send Automatically” unchecked – you’ll be able to review the messages under the “Messages” tab, “Broadcast”, and queue them to be sent from that page.
Once you’re done, simply click “Save Blog Broadcast” at the bottom of the page. This will complete the set up of your blog broadcast – it will start working immediately.
Before you log out, you should check them. Your blog broadcast also creates messages based on the content already on your blog when it was created. To take a look at this, click on “Broadcasts” under the “Messages” tab.
At the top of the list of broadcast drafts, you should see the messages created by your new blog broadcast. You can click the subject line to view them, click the “Send Now” button to send them out to your list, or simply click the “Delete” link under their subject lines to delete them.
