Today’s post is about that most important ingredient of Blogging Success – WEBSITE TRAFFIC.
A website without visitors is a very lonely place.
Traffic is sacred on the Internet and the goal of every Internet marketer and website owner. The more traffic you attract, the more readers who will subscribe to your list, and purchase products. Also, remember that all your new subscribers will also be the ones that will and spread the word about your website, products and service using social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
Following infographic contains 10 Tips to Get 1000+ Visitors per Day to Your Website. However remember to use them within an effective strategy.
10 Tips to Get 1000+ Visitors per Day to Your Website
Getting traffic is one of the most important tasks for any web master. What is more, you can’t get traffic once and then just reap the benefits. Getting traffic is an ongoing task and you must be constantly doing it, if you want to get traffic and keep it.
Here are descriptions of above infographic “10 Tips to Get 1000+ Visitors per Day to Your Website.”
01. Write long, thorough blog posts
Small blog posts have no future.
Read it again.
Give your readers something to tweet about.
Neil Patel says the average content length for a web page that ranks in the top 10 results for any keyword on Google has at least 2,000 words.
The research says it all – lengthy content is the king. Not just any content.
Ask yourself a question before writing any post – would anyone email this article to a friend?
02. Long-tail Keyword Domination
Even before Google first rolled out their Panda update in 2011, long tail keywords were a major traffic driver. Since then, it’s been even easier to dominate Google, drive organic traffic to your blog and build a profitable business.
Search Engine Journal recorded a 78% increase in organic traffic after optimizing naturally for long-tail keywords.
The question is: how do you identify long tail key phrases with minimal or low competition? Is it even possible to find long-tail keywords that virtually no one is targeting?
Yes it is!
But you need to research extensively and create lengthy, useful content with our long-tail keywords front and center. Do that and you will not only funnel targeted traffic to your blog, but also build a sustainable, enduring community around your ideas – in other words, an evergreen audience. 🙂
What do long-tail keywords show you? Long tail keywords are great because:
- They reveal searcher intent. If someone types “buy golf bag online” you know what they are looking for.
- They tell you how to structure your content so that it can solve the searcher’s problem. If someone isn’t interested in buying, there’s nothing in it for you. If they are, you can focus on product features and benefits in your content to deliver what they want.
- They help you meet a specific need.
There are 3 steps to dominating Google’s top 10 with long tail keywords.
- Step #1: Google Autosuggest
- Step #2: Google Keyword Planner
- Step #3: Write
03. Guest blogging
Guest blogging helps you gain traffic, get in front of your audience, and boost your SEO ranking in a cost-effective way.
It helps you gain traffic because you’re able to get in front of a large and relevant audience—If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Plus, you establish credibility and authority by providing a valuable article and being shown on a reputable site. Once you provide value, these readers will go to your site.
If you read enough blogs in your industry (which you should), these will be the names you see over and over writing content for others.

04. Share your content on social media
It should be the first place you send your new post.
Social networks are also a way to get traffic for free. If you are popular on networks, such as Twitter or Facebook, the traffic you get from there can easily surpass the traffic from Google and the other search engines. It is true that building a large network of targeted followers on Twitter and supporters on Facebook takes a lot of time and effort but generally the result is worth.
Social bookmarking sites (especially the most popular among them) are another powerful way to get traffic for free. If you want to learn how to do it, check the How to get Traffic from Social Bookmarking sites article, where I have explained what to do if you want to get free traffic from sites such as Digg, Delicious, etc.
05. Forum Posting
URLs in forum signatures are also a way to get traffic for free. There are forums, which get millions of visitors a day and if you are a popular user on such a forum, you can use this to get traffic to your site. When you post on forums and people like your posts, they tend to click the link to your site on your signature to learn more about you. In rare cases you might be able to post a deep link (i.e. a link to an internal page of the site) rather than a link to your homepage and this is also a way to focus attention to a particular page. Unfortunately, deep links are rarely allowed.
06. Blog Commenting
There are several top blogs in your niche (like this one) that get hundreds if not thousands of visitors on a daily basis. The proper way to do blog commenting is to thoroughly read the post and if you have something useful or meaningful to add to the conversation, then leave a comment.
The purpose of commenting isn’t to drop a link, but to add value to the conversation and to grow your network. Use your real name as the commenter and a percentage of readers will click through to learn more about you.
Pro Tip: If you have content on your site related to the post, use that URL as a link rather than the home page. Those who do click through will then have an even better user experience.

07. Email Traffic Generation
In 2013, Redicati revealed that there are over 3.6 billion email accounts worldwide, and more than 247 million emails are sent every day. Email experts also claim that on average, for every $1 you spend on email marketing, you’re going to make up to $42 back.
Building an elite email list is the first step of email marketing. If you have a blog with useful & valuable content, it’s the best way to build an email list. Use a plugin like OptinMonster and place opt-in forms in multiple opt-in places on your site.

Let’s say you email a link to a new blog post to your 1,000 email subscribers. 20%, or 200 of them, click on the link. Of those 200, a dozen or so share it with their friends on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and so on, sending you another 100 visitors.
That’s 300 visitors from one email. You can also repeat the process as many times as you like. Publish three great blog posts per week, and you get yourself 900 visitors a week, easy as pie.
That’s why building an email list is so important. It’s traffic on demand.
It’s so important, in fact, that increasing the size of your email list should be more of a priority than just getting traffic. So, put up an email subscription box your site, pronto, preferably with a nice, juicy incentive to make joining your list irresistible.
08. Link Building
Another way to get traffic for free is from other sites in your niche. Getting links with other sites in your niche is also good for SEO, especially if you manage to get links without the famous nofollow attribute. But even if the links are nofollow (i.e. they are useless for SEO), they still help to get traffic to your site. If you manage to put your link in a visible place on a site with high volumes of traffic, you can get thousands of hits from this link alone. If you need list of sites within your niche where you could get backlinks from, check the Backlink Builder tool. However, be careful if you exchange links because linking to bad neighbors can do you a lot of harm.
09. Content Marketing
Marketers are investing more into content marketing than ever before – but just like them, you want to make sure that you get the best ROI.
Brands like Coca Cola changed their marketing focus from creative excellence to content excellence. Other companies like Red Bull took this revolution seriously and created a 150 person publishing company hidden somewhere in the mountains of Austria. The drink company is becoming a media company.
Content marketing was supercharged by fast growing social networks that made content flow with little friction. Bloggers now could get attention by building tribes on social networks.
YouTube is the second largest search engine on the Web, processing more than 3 billion searches a month. To put this in perspective, it’s bigger than Yahoo, Bing, Ask, and AOL combined and should not be ignored.
In my experience, the best performing videos for many e-commerce websites are how-tos and tutorials. Niche videos can drive tons of traffic.
I bet you’ve never heard of the Honda Ruckus – it’s a small scooter. If you have a Honda repair shop, you might want to consider producing a video on how to change the oil – this one has generated more than 35,000 views.
